Each fall our partner agencies have the opportunity to request funding for the following calendar year. They must complete detailed information requested about program activities and outcomes as well as financial details about the agency and their program(s).
From those applications, community volunteers make the annual funding recommendations to the United Way Board of Directors.
Community volunteer review of requests for funding is very important to the way United Way works. Volunteer input, from people who know our community, makes it possible for the United Way to fund services and programs that are important to quality of life in our county.
